Bushcare

Bushcare is just one service offered by EBS Restoration, all aimed at re-establishing, enhancing and protecting native vegetation. Bushcare is one our favourite and most important services, utilising our skills in identifying native species and passion for protecting native vegetation. Bushcare methods are generally used in areas of native vegetation where more care is required to ensure no off-target damage. Methods used in Bushcare depend on target species, quality of the native vegetation and requirements of the client. EBS Restoration use cut and swab, frill and fill, drill and fill, spot spraying and hand pulling.

EBS Restoration has completed many Bushcare Projects such as:

  • Port Bonython Pest Plant Control  -  Sensitive Bushcare was undertaken in a coastal environment utilising spot spraying, cut and swab and hand pulling. Species controlled amongst some quality native vegetation included Coppery Mesemb, African Boxthorn, Wild Tobacco, Century Plant, Horehound and Feathertop Rhodes Grass

Weed control within native vegetation areas followed the ‘Bush For Life Minimal Disturbance Bush Regeneration Techniques’.Sturt Highway Bushcare  –  Alongside other services such as revegetation (planting and direct seeding) and ongoing site maintenance, EBS Restoration provided Buhcare services across remnant native vegetation.
